Clinical resources added to website

The Canadian Interventional Radiology Association has added a clinical resources section to its website (http://www.ciraweb.org/en/clinical-ressources). It includes links to articles on a number of topics such as clinical practice guidelines, the future of interventional radiology, and admitting privileges in interventional radiology.

CIRA board member Dr. Robert Abraham headed up the project. “One of the goals of the CIRA Strategic Plan was to encourage members to be more clinical and to also demonstrate the clinical side of the IR practice,” he explains. “CIRA Executive thus charged me with the task of creating a web-based resource that would provide tools to help members to promote and improve the clinical side of their practice and to demonstrate the clinical side of IR to administrators and other groups of physicians.”

Members of a working group assembled the documents, but Dr. Abraham would like to see other people contribute. “We hope that CIRA members beyond the working group and the executive will now contribute to the site by providing materials and feedback to improve the web-based resource.”
